Day 1: Tbilisi

Arrival in Tbilisi. Transfer to the hotel after noon. An excursion around Tbilisi awaits you. During the excursion you will visit the Metekhi Church and take the cable car to the Narikala fortress, from where you will enjoy the breathtaking panorama of the city. Going down to the area of ​​sulfur baths, where Pushkin and Dumas loved to visit, and passing through the only mosque in Tbilisi, you will find yourself among the cozy cafes and souvenir shops of the Chardin corner, the favorite place of citizens and guests of the capital. Narrow streets, wine cellars and art galleries preserve the spirit of Old Tbilisi and lead to the Sioni temple, named after the Zion mountain, the Anchiskhati basilica of the 6th century and the unique clock tower of the Rezo Gabriadze Puppet Theater. Day 2: Tbilisi - Mtskheta - Ananuri - Kazbegi


Our today's journey will pass along the Military-Georgian road towards the border with Russia. The first stop is in Mtskheta, one of the oldest cities in Georgia. Since III century AD. Mtskheta was the capital of the Eastern Georgian kingdom of Iberia, and today it is the cultural and spiritual center of the country.

Kazbegi - Gori - Uplistsikhe

Day 4:

Tbilisi - Telavi - Tsinandali - Alaverdi - Napareuli - Telavi

A guide and a driver will meet you in the hotel lobby to start a trip to Kakheti, the birthplace of winemaking. From Tbilisi to the capital of the region of the city of Telavi lies a beautiful serpentine - Gombor Pass (100 km, 2 hours). In Telavi, the shooting of the legendary film "Mimino" took place, in which the monument to Irakli II was imprinted. Walk through the historic part of the city. Departure from Telavi to Tsinandali, where the residence of Prince Chavchavadze is located, the father-in-law of the Russian writer Alexander Griboyedov. The estate is rich in a luxurious English park and the collections of Georgia's oldest wines: in the cellars of Tsinandali, wines from the 40s of the 19th century are kept. Then visit one of the highest church buildings in Georgia - Alaverdi Cathedral (XI century), which is the religious center of Kakheti. At the end of the day, a trip to the "Wine Cellar of the Twins" in the village of Napareuli, where the wine is made in the traditional Georgian way, keeping it in clay pots of Kvevri. Day 5:

Telavi - Gremi - Kvareli - Sighnaghi - Bodbe - Tbilisi

The continuation of the journey through Kakheti and Alazani Valley will begin with a visit to the architectural complex of Gremi, the capital of the Kakheti Kingdom of the 16th century, and will continue in the wine tunnel of the wine company Hareba. The tunnel was cut in the rock of the Caucasus Range in the mid-fifties of the last century for military purposes, but eventually lost its purpose and was abandoned.
